Yesterday was Matt's birthday. Matt doesn't really celebrate his birthday- but I do!!!
So Isabella and I made him a birthday cake with the help of a Betty Crocker Chocolate Fudge cake mix. Isabella takes cake-making seriously, even from a packet mix- we both had to wear aprons and she would only use a wooden spoon to stir.
It was decorated with a little chocolate frosting (they're stingy with the frosting at General Mills!), as many candles as Isabella could find and some neat little Super Mario Bros figurines I picked up at Myer the other day since Matt loves playing Super Mario Bros. He was thrilled with it and it tasted delicious!
I'm DEFINITELY going to enjoy another slice later with a cup of hot coffee (baby nap permitting!!)
