Ten things you didn't need to know about me (...but it's too late now)

I was tagged by Karen at Simply Said to play the "ten things" game.

Ten things about me......

One
I love Bollywood! The films, the stars, the drama, the gossip! I am beyond excited about the new “make me a Bollywood Star” show starting on SBS soon.

Two
I eat lemons like they’re apples. Skin and all.  I love “eureka” lemons because they don’t have seeds so I can eat the whole thing.

Three
With my first pregnancy, I didn’t find out I was pregnant until I was nearly 23 weeks along. I managed to confirm the pregnancy and the gender at the same ultrasound!

Four
I love vampire stories. I’m not a huge fan of the Twilight movies but quite liked the books, although I prefer the older vampire stories, Joseph Sheridan Le fanu’s Carmilla and Bram Stoker’s Dracula

Five
I love to clean and love to organise but I’m naturally very untidy. If I could have somebody pick-up after me all day I’d be incredibly happy because then I could focus on the things I love- cleaning lightswitches , door jambs and the tops of doors,  plugholes, skirting boards, sliding door tracks etc. As it is, I spend all my time and energy tidying up ready to clean and then getting frustrated.

Six
I’ve had my identity stolen online. The main one stole photos and used me as a fictional girlfriend so he wouldn’t seem gay when trying to hook up with guys on dating sites. Nice. If you see me signing up for a three-way in London, it isn’t me!!  Other people have copied things I’ve said word for word and modeled themselves on me. I’m really not that awesome and I’ll always be a better version of me than they can ever be. So jokes on them!

Seven
One of my favourite things in the world is new socks. Especially bright, crazy ones. In fact, I like to wear bright socks under my business clothes ;o)

Eight
I am a published writer. I have been published in a book, a magazine, a newspaper, a guest blog post and soon in some web articles.

Nine
I was given my middle name in honour of my Nanna who had conjoined (Siamese) twins. Neither of the twins survived the birth and my Nanna went on to have three boys and then they had boys. I was the first girl born in the family after the twins so I was given one of the babies’ names as my middle name.

Ten
Boogie makes me gag. Seeing someone pick their nose and eat it makes me actually puke. My little sister cottoned onto this and even now that we’re in our late twenties, if she’s losing an argument, she just has to give me an impish look and wiggle her finger towards her nose and I’m out!!
