Weekend

Saturday morning I went to make toast and this was the butter that was in the fridge:

I know it can be a bit debatable sometimes who was the last person to use something but there is no way anyone was going to use this butter again! 

So since we had to go to the shops before we could make breakfast anyway, I decided to buy the stuff to make something I've been wanting to try... 

French Crumpets (ie french toast made with crumpets)

Then we went to Bunnings for some bits and pieces and of course we had to have a sausage sizzle and watch the birds in the bird sanctuary.

When we came home I was on a roll and cleaned my laundry and printed and laminated these two... a washing guide from The Laundress and a stain removal guide from Martha Stewart. Then i attached a letter file to my cupboard door so i can slip the laminated sheets in and out for easy reference.

Sunday was a lazy day. The cat lounged on the kiddy couch,

The girls played on the computer together

And made a tent outside
